This website is deliberately lean. We collect no personal data other than what you choose to enter in the contact form. There are no cookies and no cross-site tracking; to measure reach and load times we use a cookieless statistics service (see below).

What data we process
If you use the contact form, we process the details you enter: name, company, email address, optionally phone and country or project location, plus your project details and your message. We use this data solely to answer your request.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider records technical server logs (such as IP address, time and the page requested) that serve the secure and stable operation of the site.
Hosting and storage
The website is hosted on Vercel (Frankfurt, EU). Your form submissions are stored in a Postgres database at Supabase (Zurich, Switzerland). Both providers process the data on our behalf.
Usage and performance measurement
To understand how the website is used and how fast it loads, we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights from our hosting provider Vercel. Neither service sets cookies or stores anything on your device. Per page view they record the page requested, the referring page, country, device type and browser, plus technical load-time metrics. Vercel derives a daily changing identifier from this without storing your IP address, so no cross-site profiles are built and we cannot identify you personally.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website and running it reliably. If you prefer not to be counted, you can block scripts from the domain vercel-insights.com or the path /_vercel in your browser; the website works unchanged.
How long we keep it
We keep your request only as long as needed to handle it and any follow-up. After that we delete it, at the latest upon your request.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your data. An informal message to info@impact-engineering.ch is enough.
